Parking at LBNL

Due to heavy constructions around the lab, parking is highly limited; therefore, taking the lab shuttle is highly recommended d. If you plan to drive up to the lab during the duration of the meeting, you will need a parking permit. On the day of your arrival, you can retrieve your parking permit from the security guard at the lab gate.

You will need a picture ID to be able to enter the laboratory. If you are driving other people, they also must have a picture ID and be on the guest list. If you are a lecturer or an attendee of the school, you will be on the guest list for the duration of the school.

The closest parking lot from the meeting area (the Cafeteria, Bldg 54) is the K-1 Parking lot. As a guest, you will receive a Blue Triangle Parking Permit. Therefore, you can park at the blue triangle and general parking spaces.
